Focus on piano from the comfort of home

I took piano and voice lessons from Sarah from age 4–18, and am eternally grateful for this experience. It is an incredible thing to grow up with Sarah as a teacher and mentor. Her approach to music education is playful, fun, engaging, and intentional. Sarah shows up to every lesson with positivity and grace, and gives an incredible amount of space for her students to grow and explore not only their musical repertoire but their self expression and identity.

Sarah is a wonderful piano teacher. She creates a welcoming, warm atmosphere and a safe space for learning and creative exploration. She's also excellent at tailoring lessons to her students' particular interests. I have really enjoyed the convenience of online lessons. I doubt I would have kept taking lessons for as long as I have if I had to commute to them. In my opinion online lessons are still the full experience!

Sarah is an incredible teacher. I'm an adult beginner (I'm 46, and I had a few years of lessons when I was very little) and in just about 2 months of (zoom) lessons so far, I am already so excited to sit down to practice every day! Sarah makes sure that I understand WHY I'm doing each exercise, she is really tuned into what I want to do with piano (play pop songs I love and sing along to them!) and she's helping me develop my musicality along with my muscle memory for playing. She's also really responsive to where I'm at on any given evening — life is stressful, and sometimes my lesson needs to be just about finding some joy at the piano. Plus she's really committed to her students — she makes us YouTube videos for technique, etc. I'm so grateful to be working with her, and I recommend her HIGHLY!
